At least three people were killed in overnight Russian attacks on Ukraine, local authorities reported on Saturday.<\/p>\n
A drone strike on a residential area in Zaporizhzhya resulted in the death of a woman and a man, with at least one other person reportedly injured when a residential area was hit.<\/p>\n
In Odessa on the Black Sea, at least 17 people, including a five-month-old baby, were injured, according to the local military administration.<\/p>\n
Images released by the authorities showed a damaged multi-storey residential building.<\/p>\n
Elsewhere, Oleksandr Hanzha, governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, said that one person was killed in an attack on a factory in the south-eastern Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih. Two others were injured in the incident, he said.<\/p>\n
The Defence Ministry in Moscow confirmed the attacks. It said that metal industry companies in Zaporizhzhya and Kryvyi Rih, which manufactured products for military purposes, had been targeted.<\/p>\n
In the Odessa region, the targets included port infrastructure and a key transport infrastructure facility used for the unloading and storage of military goods, the ministry said. The information cannot be independently verified.<\/p>\n
