After two weeks away,\u00a0<\/span>Michael Strahan<\/a>\u00a0returned\u00a0behind the desk for\u00a0<\/span>Fox NFL Sunday<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0On Sunday, the\u00a0football analyst joined his\u00a0co-host, Curt Menefee, for the network’s\u00a0pregame to honor veterans.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Menefee previously informed viewers that Strahan wasn’t present\u00a0during the Nov. 5 broadcast because he was\u00a0“dealing with a personal family matter.” The week prior, Menefee\u00a0told viewers that the former New York Giants player had the day off.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Although Strahan returned to his NFL\u00a0analyst gig, the\u00a051-year-old\u00a0has yet to return to co-hosting\u00a0<\/span>Good Morning America<\/a>.<\/span><\/em>\u00a0He last appeared alongside his co-hosts Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, Lara Spencer and Ginger Zee\u00a0on Oct. 26.<\/span><\/p>\n Last Tuesday,\u00a0a source told ET that Strahan <\/span>is expected to return to\u00a0GMA\u00a0<\/em>this week<\/a>. Although details on Strahan’s absence haven’t been shared, ET has learned that Strahan is fine.<\/span><\/p>\n “Michael is a huge presence at\u00a0<\/span>GMA<\/span><\/em>, and his absence is definitely felt,” a source told ET. “He’s universally adored. Everyone wishes him the best as he deals with personal family matters. The hope is for him to get back to work soon.”<\/span><\/p>\n The news came a day after\u00a0<\/span>a\u00a0GMA\u00a0<\/em>spokesperson addressed<\/a>\u00a0Strahan’s absence in a statement to ET.<\/span><\/p>\n “Michael Strahan will not be with us this week as he is dealing with some personal family matters,” the spokesperson said. “We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and concerns.”<\/span><\/p>\n Strahan has not publicly spoken out about his absences. He last posted to social media on Oct. 25 to promote\u00a0<\/span>The $100,000 Pyramid<\/span><\/em>, which he also hosts.<\/span><\/p>\n The TV personality, who’s a\u00a0<\/span>dad to four<\/a>, joined\u00a0<\/span>GMA\u00a0<\/span><\/em>in 2016 after spending four years\u00a0<\/span>co-hosting\u00a0<\/a>Live!<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/em>with\u00a0<\/span>Kelly Ripa<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
