He was 75.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">His death was announced on social media by Eric Alper, his publicist, who did not provide a cause.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">April Wine formed in late 1969 in Nova Scotia with Mr. Goodwyn, brothers David Henman on guitar and Ritchie Henman on drums, and Jimmy Henman, their cousin, on bass. Not long after forming they moved to Montreal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">\u201cFast Train,\u201d was the band\u2019s first hit, from its self-titled debut album in 1971.
