Billie Eilish<\/a> made her return to <\/span>Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a> for the third time as the show’s musical guest over the weekend, which provided the perfect opportunity for a mini <\/span>Barbie<\/em><\/a> reunion, of sorts.<\/span><\/p>\n Host <\/span>Kate McKinnon<\/a> — who plays\u00a0Weird Barbie in the film — was joined by <\/span>Barbie<\/span><\/em> director <\/span>Greta Gerwig<\/a> in a surprise cameo, and together the pair introduced <\/span>Eilish’s first performance of the night<\/a>, in which she sang <\/span>her tune “What Was I Made For?”<\/a> from the Barbie soundtrack.<\/span><\/p>\n For her performance, Eilish paid tribute to the emotional scene in which her song appears in the film, as a montage of old family photos and videos of female <\/span>SNL<\/span><\/em> castmembers played on the screens behind her.<\/span><\/p>\n Eilish is nominated for six GRAMMY Awards this year, with five of those nominations for “What Was I Made For?” including\u00a0Record Of The Year, Best Song Written For Visual Media, Best Pop Solo\u00a0 Performance, Best Music Video and Song Of The Year.<\/span><\/p>\n Later in the episode, Eilish honored the Christmas spirit with a beautiful, stirring performance of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” accompanied by brother FINNEAS on the piano.<\/span><\/p>\n
