Jon Cryer<\/a>\u00a0is open to returning to\u00a0<\/span>Two and a Half Men<\/em><\/a>. ET’s Kevin Frazier spoke to the 58-year-old actor following series creator <\/span>Chuck Lorre<\/a>‘s reconciliation with <\/span>Charlie Sheen<\/a>, and he expressed an openness to reprising his role of Alan Harper from the popular sitcom.<\/span><\/p>\n “I’m not going to rule anything out, but I haven’t talked to Charlie,” Cryer said. “I’m really glad they made up… I can only say for Chuck, clearly. He has the enormous relief of somebody who’s been able to rekindle a friendship that was really meaningful to him.”<\/span><\/p>\n Lorre and Sheen fell out in 2011 after the show into a hiatus so the actor, who played Charlie Harper, could enter rehab for a third time.\u00a0After Sheen fired back at Lorre with publicly disparaging comments, CBS and Warner Bros. canceled the remaining episodes of the season, terminating the actor’s contract and banning him from their production lot.\u00a0He was later replaced on<\/span>\u00a0Two and a Half Men\u00a0<\/span><\/em>by\u00a0<\/span>Ashton Kutcher<\/a>, and the show ran for four more seasons.<\/span><\/p>\n When Lorre began working on his new show,\u00a0<\/span>Bookie<\/span><\/em>, he <\/span>reached out to Sheen<\/a> to play a fictional version of himself.<\/span><\/p>\n “He and Charlie were very, very close for the first few years of <\/span>Two and a Half Men<\/span><\/em> and that they’ve managed to reconcile is really lovely,” Cryer told ET. “I have not spoken to Charlie. I don’t know that he knows my number anymore. But anything could happen.”<\/span><\/p>\n
