A bride reportedly traveled two hours to visit her mom in the hospital before her ceremony.
Wearing her white wedding gown, Laetitia Obry of Gonsans, France, made sure to include her mom on her special day by making a surprise visit to her hospital room, according to a new report published Thursday, June 11, by Fox News, which cited news agency Caters News.
In the video obtained by Fox News, Obry’s mother was overcome with emotion as she watched her daughter walk through the door while holding the hand of her fiancé, who was dressed in a velvet tuxedo.
The emotional moment saw Obry and her mother engage in a gentle embrace as they wept together.

Despite the visit with her mom being too short, Obry described the moment as one of the most important days of her life, according to Fox News.
“My mother was hospitalized too,” one person wrote in the comment section, per the outlet. “She cried, pleaded and begged the doctors to let her leave for just a few hours for my wedding.”
“They finally agreed after she signed a medical waiver,” the commenter continued. “Because of that compromise, she was able to stay until the cake cutting before returning to the hospital like Cinderella before midnight. It was magical.”

PEOPLE reported last month that a bride in England had an early celebration at the hospice where her mom Karen Bearman, 61, was being cared for.
“It wasn’t a marriage ceremony, it was a blessing,” Chloe Bearman told BBC. “But that was sort of enough for my mum to see us make that commitment.”
“We wanted to celebrate the love that we all had for her, as well as the love that Dan and I have for each other – we wanted her to be as much a part of as we were,” she added.
