The suspect, a 40-year-old doctor from northern Israel, had contacted Muhammad Majdallah, a journalist for Channel 12, from an unknown number, threatening his life on several occasions.
A doctor was arrested on Monday at her workplace in central Israel on suspicion of threatening the life of Channel 12 journalist Mohammad Magadli.
The arrest was made following an investigation by the Northern District Police.
According to the police, an investigation was made in recent weeks following repeated threats made against Magadla. The then-unknown suspect had contacted the journalist from an unknown number and threatened his life on several occasions.
‘I’ll come to you and eliminate you’
In one of the conversations, she told him, “Within a week, I’ll come to you and eliminate you,” said the police.
Upon receiving the report, a covert investigation was initiated, and evidence against a 40-year-old woman from northern Israel was gathered.

The woman is a doctor at a medical facility in central Israel.
Police officers raided the suspect’s workplace, arrested her, and seized evidence related to the commission of the offenses, which are believed to have been hidden at the location.
The suspect is expected to be questioned in the Northern District, and, based on the investigation’s findings, a decision will be made tomorrow on whether to bring her before the court to request an extension of her detention.
