The Israeli military said on Monday morning that it had identified missiles launched from Iran towards Israel.
“Defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Telegram.
Rocket alerts were issued in parts of central and southern Israel, among other areas. Many people again had to seek shelter from the attack in bunkers after earlier receiving a warning on their mobile phones.

Earlier, the military said a missile had also been fired from Yemen towards Israel.
The IDF later said people could leave protected spaces after both alerts.
The Iran-backed Houthi militia operates in Yemen. In the past, the group has declared its “full and unwavering solidarity” with Tehran.
The renewed missile fire came after Israel said it had attacked targets in western and central Iran following Iranian strikes the previous evening.
