The IDF confirmed that the incident was due to a Hezbollah drone that crossed into northern Israel, calling it a “violation of the ceasefire understandings by the Hezbollah terrorist organization.”
Two people were lightly injured, and a vehicle was destroyed by a Hezbollah drone attack in Misgav Am in northern Israel on Friday, the Fire and Rescue Service said in a statement.
The IDF confirmed that the incident was due to a Hezbollah drone that crossed into northern Israel and called it a “violation of the ceasefire understandings by the Hezbollah terrorist organization.”
Fire and Rescue said two firefighter teams were working at the scene to prevent the fire from spreading, and that the two injured people had already been evacuated.
This comes as the IDF decided to raise restrictions in some of Israel’s northern border communities, with Meron, Bar Yohai, Or HaGanuz, and Safsufa transferring to partial activity.
According to the Home Front Command, these communities will only be able to hold educational activities and work in a structure or location from which a standard protected space can be reached within the required protection time; with gatherings of up to 200 people in an open area, and up to 600 people within a structure.

“The Home Front Command continues to conduct ongoing situational assessments. Any changes to the civilian defense policies will be communicated to the public accordingly,” the military said.
IDF intercepts drones launched by Hezbollah
Also on Saturday, the IDF reported that it had intercepted a drone that was launched toward the area in which IDF soldiers were operating in southern Lebanon.
“In two additional incidents, Hezbollah launched a rocket and an explosive drone that fell near the area in which IDF soldiers are operating in southern Lebanon. No IDF injuries were reported,” the military said.
According to the statements, sirens didn’t sound in the areas near the incident, in accordance with the military’s protocol.
