The rankings took into account things like safety, the balance of activities for adults and children, as well as offerings that allow every age group to enjoy time together instead of making separate itineraries.

Bali, Indonesia, earned top spot on the list. The analysis showed that the popular vacation destination has a vast variety of offerings and can easily satisfy nearly every kind of traveler. Families can enjoy sprawling villas and resort compounds designed for larger groups. There are wellness retreats and beachfront restaurants but also culture workshops, wildlife, and water attractions for little ones to stay busy as well.
Tuscany, Italy

Tuscany, Italy, comes in second place, showing that family travel doesn’t have to only include beaches and resorts. The Italian region offers a great mix of culture, food, and countryside space that can appeal to all generations. Things like cooking lessons and farm experiences will appeal to little ones, while wine tastings and historic towns await the grown-ups.
